Earwig is hosting a seminar at The Education Show next week called ‘How can I’…… show progress of children’s skills and knowledge when the government is withdrawing attainment level descriptions?
Giles Storch, the Head teacher of Euxton CE Primary School, recently rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted will be providing the audience with a fresh way of thinking, by showing how a virtual timeline can involve the children. They can take greater ownership of their learning by recording their own progression steps.
This approach should be a breath of fresh air for teachers and engage parents and subject leaders in a way which is easy and accessible, creating more time in the school day.
